Spring Oaks fue fundada en el 2020 después que Nidia Valadez trabajó en un grupo de práctica privada por 2 años. Nidia se dio cuenta que había necesidad de terapeutas bilingües para empoderar a mujeres y niños Latinos/Hispanos. Nidia sabía que podía ayudar a más clientes abriendo su propio consultorio. En poco más de un año, Spring Oaks Counseling ha crecido de tener una terapeuta (Nidia) a tener 4 terapeutas bilingües que hablan español. Spring Oaks tiene el orgullo de servir el área de San Antonio y Del Rio, Texas.
Spring Oaks es diferente porque evaluamos a todos los pacientes con evaluaciones y cuestionarios desde la primera cita para garantizar que se brinde el diagnóstico y tratamiento correcto, lo que brinda tranquilidad a nuestros pacientes. Detectamos el trastorno de estrés postraumático, ansiedad, depresión y dificultades de inmigración cuando un miembro de la familia se enfrenta a la deportación. La evaluación de inmigración evalúa cómo la salida del individuo afectará a la familia y al individuo.
Spring Oaks también ofrece citas en persona y por video para adaptarse a las necesidades de nuestros pacientes.
Fully Licensed Therapist
A fully licensed therapist is a professional who has successfully completed all the requirements set forth by their respective licensing board or regulatory body to practice therapy independently. This often involves completing a master's or doctoral degree in a mental health field (such as psychology, counseling, or social work), accruing a specified number of supervised clinical hours, and passing a licensing exam. Fully licensed therapists have met rigorous standards of education, training, and experience, allowing them to provide therapy services to clients without the need for direct supervision.

Fully licensed therapists fee is 140.00/ session
Marriage/Couple session is 140.00/ 60 minutes
Marriage/ Couple session is 210.00/ 90 minutes

Our licensed therapists have the capability to process insurance billing. Feel free to visit our insurance section or contact us to determine whether your therapist accepts your insurance. It's important to note that certain insurance providers may not include coverage for marriage counseling. As a result, all sessions for couples are exclusively available on a private pay basis.
Provisionally Licensed Therapist
A provisionally licensed therapist, also known as an associate or provisional therapist, is an individual who has completed their formal education in a mental health field and has obtained a provisional license to practice therapy under the supervision of a fully licensed therapist. Provisionally licensed therapists are in the process of gaining the practical experience and supervised hours required to meet the criteria for full licensure. They are often required to participate in ongoing supervision, continuing education, and evaluations to ensure their competence and growth as future fully licensed therapists.

Student Intern Therapist
A student intern therapist is an individual who is currently enrolled in a formal academic program (typically at the master's or doctoral level) in a mental health discipline, such as counseling or psychology. Student intern therapists are in the early stages of their professional training and are often required to complete supervised clinical hours as part of their degree requirements. They provide therapy services under the direct supervision of a fully licensed therapist or a faculty supervisor. Student intern therapists offer services while simultaneously learning and honing their therapeutic skills, theoretical knowledge, and ethical practices.

We have 15 pro-bono spots available every semester, call us if you are in need of free services. Medicaid clients are automatically eligible for our pro-bono services.
