LPC Supervision Services by Nidia I. Valadez, M.S., LPC-S

Nidia Valadez is a first-generation Mexican immigrant with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University. Since obtaining her full licensure in 2015, Nidia has accumulated diverse experience across both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including prominent institutions such as ChildSafe, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center, BCFS, and National Emergency Management.

With a specialized focus on treating trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and ADHD, Nidia holds certifications in several evidence-based modalities, including TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy). Currently, she is undergoing certification in Relational Life Therapy to enhance her ability to work with couples.

Nidia's approach to supervision extends beyond clinical techniques; she provides guidance on ethical considerations, fosters introspection for therapist development, and offers insights into creating a successful private practice. Her commitment to cultural diversity and decolonizing mental health ensures a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all supervisees.
